Note: Glidgets probably do not exist. But even if they do, this story is fiction. Any resemblance to past or present Bonflare clients―or future clients such as yourself―is coincidence.
Meet Sam. Right now, he’s annoyed and worried.
See, Sam makes glidgets.
His customers love him because his system makes it quick and simple to get a custom glidget that does exactly what they want.
Sam’s glidgets last twice as long as the leading brand. They hardly ever break down. And if you call the support number, a real person picks up on the second ring.
As far as Sam knows, he’s doing everything right. So he’s getting really frustrated that his business refuses to take off.
If you Google “Glidgets Near Me,” Sam’s slick website pops right up. People are clicking it. But they’re not buying glidgets.
Let’s visit Sam’s home page. Maybe we can figure out what’s wrong.
“Our skilled engineers leverage cutting-edge technology to optimize your glidgets for accelerated production outcomes.”
Whoa. Sam’s visitors have no clue what that means. They squint a little, but it doesn’t help, so they click the Back button and vanish into cyberspace.
Poor Sam. There he is, getting up at 5 am to leverage cutting-edge technology, and nobody wants to accelerate with it.
But Sam’s website isn’t totally useless. On nights when his cash flow problems keep him awake, a quick read of his own homepage can put him to sleep in minutes.
As much as Sam loves the computer-whiz nephew who built his website, he knows something has to change.
He asks his friends at Bonflare for an intervention. They scan his site, point out a few problems, and send over a proposal to fix it.
Today, Sam’s website visitors see this:
“Skip the Hassle and Breakdowns: Get Custom Glidgets That Just Work”
As they keep reading, they feel like they’re swapping stories with Sam over coffee. Through his home page, Sam brings up the exact problems they have with their old glidgets and explains how his glidgets can solve them. They like Sam, and they can tell he knows what he’s doing. They can’t wait to give Sam their money and try out his glidgets for themselves.
Sam’s website doesn’t cure insomnia anymore. And that’s fine, because he’s sleeping like a baby these days. Business is booming, and his new website pays for itself over and over.
Does yours?
